Tick & Flea Spraying

Ticks and fleas keep to the same shaded, humid edges as mosquitoes, so they are treated on the same walk rather than as a separate visit.

The same edges, a different problem

Ticks wait on the tips of low growth at the boundary of a property, which is exactly the ground a mosquito barrier already covers: the fence line, the treeline behind it, long grass at the margins and planting beds against the wall. Fleas hold in the same shaded, humid layer. Because the walk is the same walk, adding tick and flea treatment to a mosquito program costs a fraction of what a separate call out would, and it means the parts of the garden a dog actually uses are being treated rather than only the parts people sit in.

What is being used, in plain terms

The formula is built on the same active ingredient found in doctor-prescribed and veterinarian-approved lice shampoos for humans and pets, at a milder concentration than those products use. That is worth stating plainly, because tick and flea treatment is the one people ask hardest about when there are children and animals on the lawn. It can be added to the Barrier Shield program, to the organic program, or to a one off event treatment.

Adding it to a program

Tick and flea spraying is not usually sold on its own, because the value is in sharing the visit. Add it to the Barrier Shield program or the organic spray program when you book, or mention it on the contact form and it will be quoted with the rest.
